The items shown give you an indication of authentic traditional art works from sub-Saharan cultures.The captions accompanying the pieces give an abbreviated description so that you can identify the object, and connect it to the country, region, and culture from which it comes. The predominant artworks are wood sculptures, which may be embellished with one or more materials, such as beads, cloth, dyes, feathers, fibers, metal, paint, shells, and stain. Cozart™ Fine Art Images
This web site also gives you a brief overview of the work of African American artist Cozetta Gray Guinn. Under the aegis of Cozart™ Fine Art Images (a valued segment of Nbari Art), we currently have 13 selected art prints and 10 note cards that are available for purchase. The prints include 10 different signed and numbered artist's proofs, and 10 signed and numbered limited editions. There are three prints that are signed only. All prints are size 18" x 24".

Cozart™ images present pictorial stories reflecting scenes from the rural south, the California desert and West Africa. This web site allows you to see selected reflections of these memories and experiences, and provides you with aspects of history and culture that produced their existence.
